Today I had my little medical for the replacement driving licence, it was basically just an eye test, I misread the colour test even though I knew what the correct thing was but the examiner didn't speak English anyway and let it pass. She then did the eye test, well I have contact lenses that have one eye for reading and the other eye for distance, so the reading eye couldn't see anything clear, so she gave up on that and passed me anyway, I could read right to the bottom line with both eyes.
The amazement bit came when we went to the cop shop to put the medical paperwork in and they gave us the licences then and there, we were not expecting them till at least the end of the week, so we are now up and running again to drive, the only thing left to replace is the tag to get us in and out of the car
